William “Bill” Barton grew up in this industry and is an experienced consultant with over 50 years of experience. Seventeen of those years he served as the President of Barton Consulting where he consulted for the roles of VP, COO, Strategic Sales, Product Development, Marketing, Training, and Education for over 35 companies. Bill spent three years as the Director of National Accounts at Comdata, ten years at Chevron, as well as started his own trucking company. He has been with Certified Distribution since its inception in September of 2016.
Scott Wombold is a dynamic leader who brings over 30 years of experience in the fuel industry. Twenty-five of those years were with Pilot Flying J, serving most recently as Vice President of National Accounts. He spent five years with Comdata as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Merchant Services. Innovative Sales welcomed Scott in July of 2017.

Steve Cates has a vast technical, analytical, sales and service background. With over 30 years of hands-on experience in the transportation industry, Steve has worked for small fleets, large fleets, leasing companies, dealerships, and with an OEM in multiple high-profile roles. The breadth and scope of his experience provides Steve a one of a kind skillset that he uses to custom tailor solutions to each and every transaction at Innovative Sales. We welcomed Steve as Director of Sales in October of 2017.
Regional Sales Manager
Pete Metz has been involved in sales of aerodynamic products for over 7 years. His vast understanding of how aerodynamic devices work independently or in conjunction with each other help him to identify and implement fuel efficiency improvements for any size fleet. He is excited to be a part of Innovative Sales and the Industry leading manufacturers that we represent. We welcomed Pete as Regional Sales Manager in August of 2018.
